Power Flushing Training

Get the most from your Kamco Clearflow power flushing pump with a hands-on training session at our St Albans works. In around four hours, our team will show you how to power flush every common type of heating system, using a live demonstration system dosed with real corrosion debris. You’ll leave confident, certified and ready to deliver better results on every job. Training is free for Kamco pump owners.

Why power flushing training matters

Boiler manufacturers increasingly insist that heating systems are properly flushed when a new boiler is fitted to an old system, and some make the warranty conditional on it. Many older systems also suffer from circulation problems caused by sludge and corrosion debris. As a result, a power flushing pump has become an essential part of every heating engineer’s toolkit. Knowing how to use one correctly matters just as much.

Every Kamco Clearflow pump comes with comprehensive instructions. Every pump customer is also entitled to attend a training session with the people who design and build them.

Learn on a real, working system

Every session takes place at our St Albans works, where we’ve built a dedicated training room. The correct procedures are demonstrated on a working heating system that has been dosed with corrosion debris beforehand, so you can see exactly what happens during a real flush. We also use visual aids and sample specimens that simply couldn’t be taken on the road. This is why we don’t run sessions elsewhere: without these resources, the training wouldn’t be as thorough or effective.
